How do I get to Celtic Manor? 

Celtic Manor is just off Junction 24 of the M4. (18 minutes from the Prince of Wales Bridge - which is now free to drive over) Newport Train station is just 3.6 miles away. We encourage you to find the most cost effective way to travel, through car sharing/car hire (using pladis approved providers through Concur Travel site) or purchasing train tickets (through FCM Platform) in advance. We will be providing a shuttle bus from Newport station to the hotel at 9.15 and 9.40 prompt.

How do I get to Celtic Manor via car? 

For those using GPS the Resort’s position is 336549 and 191340.

Is there parking on site? 

The Celtic Manor Resort has extensive parking facilities available to guests and visitors.
There are around 1500 car parking spaces across the Resort. The underground car park is directly below the Resort Hotel, which is ideal for access to the main hotel and conference area. Car Parking is free for pladis employees.

Can I charge my electric car? 

Yes, there is a Tesla Supercharger situated in the Roman Road outdoor car park, a short walk from the front foyer of the Resort Hotel. They are available 24/7 to both Tesla and non-Tesla owners. Non-Tesla electric vehicles must have CCS compatibility.

How do I get to Celtic Manor via public transport?

The nearest train station is Newport Station, just a few minutes from Celtic Manor

 

Will there be transport from the station to the venue?

Yes. We will be providing a shuttle bus from Newport Station to the Hotel at 9:15am and 9:40am on Tuesday 8th July. We will be sending an email nearer the time with the full details. Please ensure you inform us that you would like to use the shuttle on our enrolment form.

Do I need to book accommodation?

No. We have accommodation booked for everyone attending the conference for the evening of Tuesday 8th July.

 

If you are travelling more than 2.5 hours, above your normal commute, and you need accommodation for Monday 7th July, please gain approval from your Line Manager and arrange accommodation in a nearby hotel. Unfortunately, we are unable to book accommodation for the night before at Celtic Manor

 

Do I need to pay for my stay? 

No, your accommodation bill will be paid for centrally. Any extras you have you will need to pay for and needs to be approved by your Line Manager.

Preparing for the Conference

 

Do I need to be there for both days? 

Yes. This is a great opportunity to collaborate, celebrate and ensure we are capitalising on our 2026 plans. 

 

Do I need to bring my workbag?

No. You won't need your laptop as the day will be full of group work and presentation-style content. Pens & paper be provided on the tables.

 

What is the dress code? 

Dress code during the day is casual and practical - e.g. jeans, a t-shirt and comfortable shoes for the team building on day 2.

 

Dress code for the evening is ‘Unleash the party’, so get your party outfits and dancing shoes on!

On the Day

 

Where do I go when I arrive?

Once you have arrived at the main Resort, follow the signs for the Caernarfon Suite, on Convention Level 2, where our team will welcome you and check you in for the conference and provide your personal lanyard. Teas, Coffees and biscuits will be available, but we recommend getting breakfast before you arrive.

 

What do I do with my luggage when I arrive at Celtic Manor? 

If you are arriving by car, please leave your luggage in your car, until the end of the conference on day one. Bedrooms will not be available until later in the afternoon. Bedroom keys will be given out later in the day.
